Move It Monday

Another Monday joins us, or are we joining the Monday?! Either way, I hope to hit on head on. Mr. Know it All has a piano lesson tonight, so I need to have dinner planned...like now, and I need to get moving! So much to be done today, per usual. I didn't do too bad last week, but I hope to do even better today! I need to get started right away on the tote of clothes I opened and left sitting in my son's closet yesterday. I pulled out a new but old skirt that I can finally fit into again, and wore it for church! YAY! It's one of my favorites. A beautiful black, three tiered skirt with red flowers. It flows so beautifully! I need to go through the rest of the tote and see what else I can wear and get it put back away, so my son has his closet again. We kind of run low on closet space in this house, so I use part of his for storage. So, anyway, that's first, then I need to:

*Wash Dishes

*Do a load of towels

*Mop the kitchen floor

*Put away already clean laundry..oops

*Wash a load of hubby's work clothes

*Work on organizing my vanity

I do hope it is a very productive day, I need some productivity. It would be nice to fit some exercise in, but time will tell. My muscles could use two days off in a row though. I've been working them hard. I'm starting a new water intake thing today, so I know that will help my energy level, but it may sabotage my weigh-in on Wednesday. Health before scale though, right?! Have a great Monday, and keep it moving...don't allow those Monday blues to sneak in!

  1. Your day looks similar to mine, although it's pointless to scrub the floor with two dogs at my feet. Maybe when all the beans are in and in the freezer.

  2. Strange as it may sound, drinking more water helps you LOSE weight. That's because when you drink more water, you clean yourself of impurities. When you don't drink enough water, your body retains it, making the scale go up. I've found that the more water I drink the better my skin looks, too.

Doesn't it feel great to fit into the clothes you love? I gave away some of my clothes because I'd gotten too big for them. Now I could probably wear them again, but instead someone in Nicaragua is enjoying them, so I don't feel bad. On the bright side, it's nice to buy shirts in a "small" again!

  3. Yes, drinking water does help with weight loss, more than words can say. But for whatever reason, anytime I increase my intake I hold 2 pounds of water weight for 3 days before my body adjusts. I'm doing what the trainer said though...I doubled my water intake, and when I got used to that I doubled it again, and now that I've adjusted to that, I'm doubling it AGAIN!

Well, now you have reason to find some new clothes! At good thrifty prices, of course! lol

  4. Yes, dogs can certainly undo anything we try to clean or organize! My friend that lives in Kansas has THREE Labs in her house! They trash her floors. Bless her heart, she's so dilligent about constantly cleaning them though. I don't know what worse when it comes to that...kids or dogs?!
